Abstract

Dr. Janie Leatherman discusses the key developments in humanitarianism and humanitarian crises. She discusses the changing nature of conflicts and war, shifts in the balance of refugees from rural camp settings to urban locations, increasing threats of human displacement from climate change, "mixed migration," and lastly the number of "stateless" people identified by the UNHCR.
