Abstract

Bowen discusses her experience taking the exit exam for teacher candidates, describing the content of the test and assessing how difficult it is for pre-service teachers to pass. Bowen is concerned that the Praxis series of tests fail to adequately evaluate how new teachers will perform in the classroom.
