Abstract

Meredith Wallace [Kazer] (with J. Fitzpatrick) is a contributing author, "Foundation funding for healthcare".

Book description: Nursing Leadership: A Concise Encyclopedia is an important reference for all leaders, both current and future, in health care. Its 180 entries, written by nursing luminaries, not only enhance our understanding of leadership--what it is and how it functions--but will help to promote effective leadership among nurses.

The encyclopedia is organized around nine themes, with five themes embracing the most salient management and leadership theories, including characteristics and skills required of leaders in today's complex health care system.
