Abstract
What path did you follow that led to your teaching at a University?
Dr. Ramdas Lamb discusses his life in the West as a believer in an Eastern religion. He was instructed by his superior to return to America to care for his parents after months of silence and discernment in India as a Hindu monk. After his sojourn he expected to return to India, but was told to remain in the West where his superior felt he would be more useful. He married and settled in Hawaii.
