Abstract
How can we think of “religion?”
Dr. Martin Jaffee discusses the question of whether Buddhism can be considered a religion. He believes that yes because there is some sort of connection to a deity, even though they may not exist. He also speaks further of his own definition of religion, including a focus on ritual and ethics.
