Abstract
What does the word “religion” mean?
Dr. Maria Pilar Aquino takes on the task of defining what “religion” is. For her, it is the expression of the existence of a transcendent reality and the goodness within the human person. Whether or not a “god” exists is a different question, but religion conceptualizes this idea of deity.
