Abstract
What are the responsibilities of a Catholic University in today’s world?
Dr. Maria Pilar Aquino discusses the problem of the growth of poverty around the world and its relationship to Catholic Education. Aquino finds that the disconnect between the core mission of a Catholic University towards justice and respect and the lack of passion it produces within its graduates who often go on to hold power to act against these injustices to be very disturbing.
