Abstract

What is the role of Theology in the Jewish tradition?

Dr. Judith Plaskow discusses the role of “theology” in the Jewish tradition, and how Judaism places a greater focus on laws and practices. Dr. Plaskow comments on the way in which Jews explore religion through commentary and midrash on Scripture and how this process often leads to multiple interpretations and meanings.
