Abstract
Is Judaism a sexist tradition?
Dr. Judith Plaskow discusses how important it is to think critically about women in the Jewish tradition. Although she understands Judaism to be a deeply patriarchal and sexist tradition, she does not see this as a reason to dismiss the faith, but to think critically and work to transform it so that women become equal participants in the practice of the religion.
