Abstract
What religious issue most interests you?
Dr. Jonathan Z. Smith discusses what most interests him when studying religion. He explains that he finds the way religions deal with differences to be fascinating and he is interested in the gap between what religions say the world is like, and what they really know the world is like. He is also interested in how other scholars use a comparative methodology to study religion.
