Abstract
How can a good God exist when there is so much evil in the world?
Dr. John Carmody discusses the existence of evil in the world by dividing it into the categories of physical evil and moral evil. Both physical evil such as earthquakes, and moral evil such as rape make people question the existence of God. Dr. Carmody defends the existence of God by discussing the beautiful mysteries and experiences of good in the world that exist together with evil.
