Abstract
What are the roles of faith and reason in the modern worldview?
Dr. Charles Curran discusses the importance of both faith and reason in understanding the world today. He speaks of the danger of failing to balance one with the other, e.g., religious fundamentalism or atheistic materialism. Although Curran acknowledges the constant struggle to include both faith and reason in developing a practical world view, he believes that each are absolutely necessary.
