Abstract

What is the “Problem of Evil?”

Rev. Dr. Charles Curran discusses evil as a product of human misuse of freedom, and not something caused by God. He speaks of the ability of some to turn suffering into good and of others to be overcome by the suffering and the experience of evil. Although it is the hope that evil will diminish, Curran states that as Christ suffered, humans will also.
