Abstract

What is your primary interest as a scholar?

Dr. Catherine Bell discusses her interest in and understanding of folk religion, and how it often challenges many aspects of her working definition of religion. She also discusses the need to focus on grass root practices of religion and ritual, versus intellectual discussion.
