Abstract
What do you say to people who claim all religions are the same?
Dr. Catherine Bell discusses how the similarities allow us to define religions as “religion”, but even given this, the variations are significant. Most importantly, it is the differences that illustrate the ways in which different human societies understand being in the world, being in the presence of the Sacred, and being productive members of the community.
