Abstract

How do you define religion?

Dr. Catherine Bell gives her definition of religion as ideas, convictions, and practices related to something other than day-to-day practices. She suggests that “religion” is a 21 ^st century term and that it is often not useful when applied to many Asian or emerging religions.
