Abstract

What influenced your decision to become a Theologian?

Dr. Anne Carr discusses her path to becoming a religion scholar at the University of Chicago. She acknowledges the influences of the work and guidance of Langdon Gilkey and David Tracey. She also discusses the challenges of working within a university community of diverse students – both undergraduate and graduate –whose backgrounds and questions often differ.
