Suzanne Marmo, Ph.D., LCSW, APHSW-C is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Sacred Heart University. She has been a licensed social worker since 2001 and a Certified Advanced Palliative and Hospice Social Worker since 2019. Professor Marmo's clinical expertise includes medical and oncology social work, hospice, palliative care and working with older adults. Professor Marmo's research interests include palliative and hospice social work, the role of social work in health care organizations, social justice and inequities in palliative care and health care systems.
