About
Professor Braun received her B.S. Degree in Biology from Fairfield University and her Ph.D. in Microbiology from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. After completing a NIH postdoctoral position from University of Connecticut Health Science Center, Farmington Connecticut in Molecular Biology, she joined the faculty at Fairfield University in 1979, received tenure in 1984, and was promoted to the rank of Professor in 1989.
