About
Paul Lakeland is the Aloysius P. Kelley S.J. Professor of Catholic Studies and Director of Fairfield's Center for Catholic Studies. Hired in 1981, he is a former chairperson of the Religious Studies Department and a former director of the Honors Program. He holds a Licentiate in Philosophy from Heythrop Pontifical Athenaeum (1969), an M.A. in English Language and Literature from Oxford University (1976), a Bachelor of Divinity from the University of London (1977) and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University (1981).
