About
Naser Haghbin obtained his BASc in mechanical engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology in 1994, and subsequently worked for 14 years in design, machinery installation & commissioning, and production start-up & ramp-up in large-scale multidisciplinary projects and manufacturing processes, industrial robotics, and electromechanical systems in Automotive Plants, Pharmaceutical Factory, High-Pressure Pipe Factory. He obtained his MASc in Mechanical Engineering in 2011 from Ryerson University, Toronto, focusing on MEMS and power harvesting, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2015 from Ryerson University, focusing on micro-machining processes and modeling of milling of metals using abrasive waterjet micro-machining. He continued his micro-machining research as a postdoctoral researcher at Ryerson University before joining SUNY Poly Institute and now working at Fairfield University.
