Michael P. Pagano

I'm an Okie, so I graduated a number of times from the University of Oklahoma. I have a B.A. in pre-med and English, a B.S. as a Physician Assistant (PA) from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, an M.A. in English, and a Ph.D. in Communication with a health communication focus.
I have a rather atypical academic background in that I combined my healthcare professional role with my scholarly endeavors. I have been a practicing PA for several decades and both my teaching and research are informed by my experiences in a wide variety of healthcare settings. And hopefully, my interactions with patients and providers in the office and the ER are reciprocally influenced by my scholarship.
