Emily Smith is an Associate Professor of English Education in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction in the School of Education and Human Development. She came to Fairfield University in the Fall 2003 from Michigan State University, where she completed her doctoral work in Teacher Education/English Education. Emily teaches courses in Secondary Education, including English Methods, Literature for Young Adults, English Seminar and Educational Psychology.
