About
Christa Palancia Esposito completed her BSN degree Cum Laude at Western Connecticut State University. Subsequently, she earned her Certificate in Nurse Midwifery and Masters of Nursing, Magna Cum Laude at State University of New York Brooklyn and Stony Brook respectively. While studying at Brooklyn, she was awarded the Midwifery Education Award for Clinical and Academic Excellence. Christa iearned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Fairfield University in 2018.
Christa has practiced full scope midwifery and women's health in New York and Connecticut for over twenty years and specializes in the healthcare of adolescent women. She joined the nursing faculty in 2016 teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Christa maintains clinical practice in Trumbull, CT serving women holistically throughout their life span. Her research interests include the use of the intrauterine device in the adolescent population and the use of simulation in nursing and midwifery education.
