About
Adam Rugg is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication. He received his M.A. from the University of South Florida and his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. His research interests include examining the relationship between sports, media, and social issues, with an emphasis on the NFL. In addition to his focus on sports, he also researches evolving digital infrastructures for video distribution as well as the effect of the internet on geographically-based identities.
