About
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Professor Van Dyke received his BS in Chemistry from a fellow Jesuit Institution – Seattle University – in 2004. He then trained under Professor Timothy F. Jamison at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, developing methods for the synthesis of ladder polyether natural products. In 2009 he began postdoctoral studies in Chemical Biology under Professor Anna K. Mapp at the University of Michigan. In 2010, Dr. Van Dyke was awarded an American Cancer Society – Michigan Cancer Research Fund postdoctoral fellowship. He began his independent career at Fairfield University in 2013.
